The Dominican Learning Center Volunteers provide not just expertise and instruction in English as a Second Language and GED prep, but they also generously offer encouragement, compassion, dignity, and friendship.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the DLC held a special event at the Martin de Porres Center to show our deep appreciation for their dedicated service.

The DLC has over 240 volunteers in their various programs, and all were invited to attend the celebration. The Motherhouse catered the dinner and Advisory council chair, Theresa Marie Thompson, was the Master of Ceremonies.
