Supporting the DLC

Many partners enable the Dominican Learning Center to be able to continue its important ministry, from those who help to fund the Center’s project to those who help guide the Center’s work.

Supporting the DLC – How Your Gift Helps

Your gift of any amount goes a long way at the Dominican Learning Center. We depend on your financial investments and over 200 trained volunteers to help our learners reach their goals. Together, we can build a strong, literate community in Franklin County.

The impact of your investment:
$25
provides office supplies for learners and volunteers for a month
$50 provides headsets and microphones needed for Rosetta Stone and other language learning programs
$75 provides required training materials for one volunteer tutor
$100 purchases literacy workbooks for one learner and his/her tutor
$500 supports the cost of one new learner and tutor pair for a full year
$1,000 provides tutor training instruction and materials for ten volunteer tutors

More Ways to Help

Planned Giving
Make literacy part of your legacy. Please consider including the Dominican Learning Center in your will or living trust.

Your gift of a lifetime would not only change our adult learners’ individual lives, it would influence the learner’s entire families’ level of self-sufficiency and independence for generations to come.
